英國高等法院裁定長期病患困在養老院是非法
英國高等法院裁定，認為養老院把長期病患的老人和無病症的19病人困在同一地方為非法1，實為一宗值得關注的判決。鑑於首波疫情大概有40%的死亡發生在養老院2，撇除19病毒為死因，同期的非正常死亡率亦有同樣的顯著升幅。因「疫情關係」，政府怕醫院床位短缺，便把長期病患老人全扔到養老院處理。實際上，在2020年4至6月的「疫情」高峰，不加開額外床位之餘，公立醫院床位忽然減少了大約8%，與此同時2020至2021年病床總佔用率是5年來新低，得65%，一般和急症病床佔用率更是63%3。
客觀而言，政府的決定造成養老院人手緊張，員工因「疫情」個個作鳥獸散，老人大多自生自滅，之前幾個月已經爆料有養老院的老人甚至連飯都沒，遑論有人照顧4。他們很多因照顧不足和孤獨寂寞而死，有傳甚至安老院給他們服食鎮靜劑失救而死5，疫情高峯，處方鎮靜劑(midazolam)是幾個月前的一倍6，當然任何28日內陽性結果的死亡都算入19病毒。無論直接或間接，政府不是救人，而是有意殺人。
有了高等法院的判案先例，希望死者家屬可以進一步追究醫院的官僚疏忽，甚至揭發政府有沒有用鎮靜劑直接將老人「人道毀滅」，還原疫情真相。
